Class Descriptions

  Muscular Strength and  Range of Motion

  • This class provides exercises for strength and flexibility using weights, tubing and balls.  We start out by warming up and stretching, do some movement exercises, strength training with light weights to help with osteoporosis and standing leg work to strengthen the hips and legs. The class also consists of finger exercises for arthritis, balance exercises and lots and lots of stretching. It is a jam packed class full of benefits. Students are always reminded to work at their own level and safety is a priority. Did we also mention you will have lots of fun!
  • Cardio Circuit
  • Start with a warm-up & stretch then exercise through a simple but challenging array of exercise stations alternating cardiovascular & sculpting exercises designed to make you fit. Appropriate for ALL fitness levels. A cardiosculpt class to condition your heart and body.

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

 

SHALLOW (Chest Deep) WATER WORKOUT

A low impact but high intensity water class where no swimming skills are needed. Exercises designed to improve your fitness level, muscular strength/endurance and range of motion.  

   

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time:  9:00 - 9:50 am

Cost: $60 Members Only  

(10 classes)

Minimum of 8 students

 

DEEP WATER RUNNING AND EXERCISE

Ideal cardiovascular exercise with no weight bearing stress. Beneficial for cross training for your cardio program and/or rehabilitating hips, knees, shoulders and other joints requiring the cushioning of deep water.  Deep water belt is required and should be purchased prior to class.

 

Days: Tuesday and Thursdays

Time:  10:00 - 10:50 am

Cost:   $60 Members Only

(10 classes)

Minimum of 8 students
